Dr. Dinshaw Bamji has been following his passion for psychiatry for a number of decades. Originally from India, Dr. Bamji completed his US residency in 1980 at Mount Sinai in Manhattan. He worked as an attending in the Elmhurst, Flushing and Jamaica hospital, among others. While maintaining his clinical presence in the hospitals, Dr. Bamji was appointed Assistant Professor with reputed medical schools like Mount Sinai Medical School and the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Currently, he is involved in residency training at the Jamaica Hospital Center. Dr. Bamji balances his inpatient and ambulatory care with working in private practice both in Whitestone, as well as at The Mind Clinic. His seasoned experience benefits the patients in getting them their care they need. Dr. Bamji thrives on seeing his patients progressing into the life they envision.
