Jose Morales is a bilingual New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty years experience as a psychotherapist. Has worked with the adult population who present with ADHD, Anxiety, PTSD, Depression, OCD and many more.
Therapeutic philosophy is one where we all have the internal resources to manage the emotions which evoke suffering and that we are each the experts of ourselves. Incorporates behavioral, cognitive and supportive psychotherapy approaches . Specifically ,views issues impacting mental health from a neuroscience lens highlighting the relationship between mind and body.
Mr. Morales is a graduate of New York University and the Brooklyn Institute for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. In addition, has attended numerous trainings on behavioral and cognitive therapy, treatment of trauma and use of meditation in psychotherapy .
